Trouve-moi Une Feuille: A Fall & Thanksgiving French Scavenger Hunt
What's included
1 live meeting
40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time class, students will participate in a guided fall and Thanksgiving themed scavenger hunt through their homes. This is a fun class that allows students to work with the things in their immediate surroundings. Class will begin with introductions in English, and then students will be led through the class rules before being asked to find the first object. A PowerPoint will be used to show what the students should be looking for, as well as provide them with simple sentences to describe things in French. Examples of objects to look for include: something you wear in the fall, something orange, etc. This class works great for beginners and intermediate French students alike. For beginners, it is a fun introduction to the language. For intermediate students, it is a great way to practice language and sentence skills. All students will be given the opportunity to speak throughout class, so a working microphone is required. Students also need a working camera for this class, as I will need to be able to see their objects to help them describe them in French. This class includes repetition, as this is a great way to learn a language. Please note that this class involves student movement. Students should have water available and should not run. (This will be emphasized in class.) This class should be supervised appropriately. Students may participate with or without footwear and no physical warm-up is needed In order for all students to hear me in class, I employ a strict muting policy. I will unmute students one at a time so they can work with me, and all students will have many opportunities to speak. Young students may need a parent to help them unmute. I go over the muting policy each class as a reminder to students. Additionally, due to Outschool policy, students must identify themselves on camera at least once at the beginning of class.

I grew up in a bilingual household here in Canada and we spoke both French and English growing up. Learning multiple languages is a great tool for world travelers, and it is a fantastic tool to stimulate your brain. I love speaking French and cannot wait to share my love of this language with you!
