Description
Class Experience
Students will be shown maps of the tropical regions of the world. Students will learn about flamingo and sea horse lifestyles and habitats. Students will learn facts about waves and tropical flowers. Students will use a variety of art supplies with instruction from the teacher.
The teacher is a retired elementary school teacher who has a master's degree in Integrating Arts into the Curriculum. She loves having a platform like Outschool to teach what she loves to enthusiastic students. Judy once had a dream of opening a school in a tiki hut on a beach in Costa Rica. ****This class is inclusive, which means students ages 6-11 of all abilities are welcome. If your student needs any accommodations please let me know and we will work together to ensure that they have the best possible class experience.****
Supplies: Watercolor Paper (preferred over copy or sketch paper for its durability and the final product is prettier) Watercolor Paint Water Paper towel Variety of paint brushes Permanent markers (example: Sharpie extra fine or fine point) a variety of colors or just black) Crayons, markers, or colored pencils Pencil/eraser
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
