Class Experience

This will be a fun and interactive way to get some exercise and have some fun! We will start with introductions, warm up, and jump right into dancing. I will play songs from the Trolls movies and students will dance along with me. The steps will be simple and easy to follow along. The goal will not be to learn the dances but to just have fun and follow along with each song for some exercise! At the end of class we will have a freestyle dance, play a game of freeze dance, and do a cool down! This is for beginners that just want to have a good time and love Trolls!

Learning Goals

Students will increase stamina, coordination, and build self confidence.

Parental Guidance

This is a physical class. An open area for students to move around in and water should be close by. Appropriate tennis shoes should be worn.

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi, I'm Kaleigh! As a Teacher of the Deaf and mom to 3 kids of my own (ages 2, 7, and 9), I know that learning should be hands on, involve movement, and most importantly, be fun!  I enjoy teaching all things American Sign Language and dance/Zumba!  I have my Bachelors and Masters in Deaf Education and have taught Deaf/Hard of Hearing students ages 0-18 for 8 years.  I grew up dancing and have taught Zumba for several years.  You will see a variety of classes from me including American Sign Language, dance, and Zumba classes. When I am not teaching, I enjoy running, reading, and traveling.  Hope to see you in the "classroom!"
