This Troll Theme Yoga Class will begin with an age appropriate meditation followed by movement, yoga, songs and poses all with a Trolls Movie twist! Class will end with a guided visualization for relaxation. Class is taught in an informal and interactive way to ensure learners feel comfortable and enjoy the yoga practice on their level. Several times throughout class, we will interact with each other and have short discussions about some of the yoga poses. No prior yoga experience is...
Students will learn about the benefits of meditation and how to begin a meditation practice. Learners will also be exposed to several yoga poses with instruction in each. Finally learners will begin to understand the calming nature of visualization and relaxation to end the yoga class.
Yoga mat or towel water
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students should make sure they have ample room for their yoga class. A yoga mat is highly recommended. Students should be barefoot to avoid slipping and wear comfortable clothing so they can move around easily. Students should also have water nearby. A parents/guardian should be nearby as well to ensure safety though safety cues are given throughout class.
