Description
Class Experience
Students will read, write, and say each country (continent) name, and color on a map of the world where that country (continent) is located.
I have been teaching/homeschooling for 20+ years. I approach learning with customizing the learning to each student to help them become their best. I love helping student learn about the world around them. I have a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology. My experience as a homeschool educator will help me be able to best meet each students needs in how they learn. I believe giving them a well rounded approach helps each of them learn in the way that is best for them. I do this by having students read, write, and speak each of the countries. This helps them retain the material in the best way.
Each student needs a printer, markers, crayons, or colored pencils to color in their map with. Something to write with to fill in the provided worksheet for the student to write in the name of each country and where it is on a map. On the last day of class, students will compete in an online interactive game with all countries and continents to see which ones they can remember and where it is on the map. Students are encouraged to have another device to best play this game.
