Each week we will play trivia based on a different topic in US history. The different trivia themes may include things such as presidents, wars, social changes, historic figures, economic changes and more! I am also open to suggestions for topics from the students themselves. At the beginning of each meeting, we will introduce ourselves and get the students set up and ready to play. I will let the students choose a category of trivia to play based on 3-4 options I provide. Each trivia game will have approximately 30 questions. I will provide a bit of extra insight about the questions once the answers are revealed so that students can learn a bit more about the topic of the week! The trivia game will be played using Kahoot! so it would be best to have the app on your device already. I also suggest using more than one device so the students can easily see the questions and submit their answers to the trivia questions, but it can be played on one device with a split-screen or by going between different tabs.

Students will have a fun, social time with others that share their interest in US History.
Students will learn more about various topics in US History.
