This is the list for the entire 4-week workshop. Students will not use all of these for each class. I will send an email Sunday before each week to let you know what they will need specifically for the next class. Drawing paper (printer paper will work) Cardstock or watercolor paper Colored Pencils Crayons Pencils (no mechanical pencils) Eraser Black sharpie Black ballpoint pen Ruler Circles to trace- various sizes (lids, containers, bottles, jars, etc.) Red marker Yellow marker Blue marker Light blue marker (cyan blue)
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Below are my general classroom rules and policies. These will also be explained to students when we begin class! -For everyone's safety, and to ensure an engaging and social experience, students are expected to have working microphones and video for the entirety of this class, positioned such that we can both hear and see them. -Students are asked not to use virtual backgrounds. -I keep all students muted while giving instructions to prevent background noises from becoming distracting. If a student would like to ask a question, add to the conversation, or merely share an idea, they simply need to raise their hand, and I will unmute them as quickly as possible! Students will be able to unmute and socialize during studio time (coloring, shading, etc.) -The Zoom chat is set to "host only", meaning students can chat with me, but not to one another or the entire classroom.
