In this self-paced course, students will learn Trigonometry. They will be asked to take notes on topics from pre-recorded lessons, and any questions students have about their homework will be addressed through the classroom page or via messages. Students can message at any time with questions, and recorded explanations and guides will be provided. External videos, guides, and worksheets provided by the instructor will be used in this class. Students are expected to check in and submit their assignments. Worksheets can be submitted by sending an image, scan, or PDF. Quizzes and unit tests will be issued on Khan Academy, and homework may also be assigned there. All Khan Academy progress is tracked when learners sign up for the class in the first week. The class schedule is divided into four parts: right triangles & trigonometry, trigonometric functions, non-right triangles & trigonometry, and trigonometric equations and identities. A course review will be held in the final week. Learners should have some background in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, High School Geometry, and Algebra 2 before taking Trigonometry. The instructor also offers live one-on-one tutoring for students who need additional help at an additional cost.
Learning Goals
In this course, you'll master Trigonometry basics, solve problems with trigonometric formulas, and apply concepts to real-world scenarios. Enhance critical thinking, use tools like Khan Academy, and aim for a passing grade and certificate.
