Tricks to Memorize and Solve: Be a Multiplication Wiz!

Welcome to class!
In this 4 day camp-style class, students will learn and practice multiplication facts for families 1-12. In each class, we will learn how to drill multiplication facts. We will then learn tricks on how to remember these facts and answer quickly. Each student will have the opportunity to practice and get the help needed in class. After class, optional homework will be assigned for students to practice. Additionally, a Blooket game will also be posted for students to practice. Blooket is very similar to Kahoot, which general education teachers use in the classroom for review. Many teachers are using Blooket in the classroom as well.

Day 1: 1s, 2s, 3s,
Day 2: 4s, 5s, 6s,
Day 3: 7s, 8s, 9s
Day 4: 10s, 11s, 12s

**I do go in order of fact families.** If your child already has prior knowledge of multiplication, but struggles in the higher families (6-12), I will focus on the higher numbers with them in the lower fact families (1-5). I do adjust my teaching to the individual student so everyone feels they are learning and enjoying class.
