Just in time for Halloween, this scavenger hunt will have us searching our houses for spook-tacular items...ending with a treat!

Boo! This class is for those that are seeking a festive, spook-tacular time for Halloween. As many children will be unable to trick-or-treat or don a costume and parade around, this class is the chance for them to do all of that! We will start the class by showing off our awesome costumes! Next, we will go on a scavenger hunt for items, complete spooky challenges and maybe play a "trick" to lead us to our treats! **Parents, the class will end with them finding a "treat" or a candy bag. I will leave it to individual parents to decide what should be waiting for their child. **I have listed some days and times. If you would like to do this with a group of children as a "party" please let me know and we can find a day and time!

I am Ms. Marie, a lover of learning, playing and creating! I have been doing these things all of my life, and been sharing them with learners of all ages for 13 years!
I have been a "teacher" all of my life (babysitter, camp counselor, resident assistant, Peace Corps volunteer), but formally, I have been teaching since 2009. Much of my experience comes from teaching 3, and 4-year old children in a private preschool, and I have taught 1st and 2nd grade.
My strength as a teacher comes from teacher my ability to follow the interest of my learners and to create meaningful, play-based learning experiences in my classes. My classes incorporate literacy, numeracy, science and social studies in hands on ways so that learners can explore, create and engage with materials and each other.
