Class Experience
In this 4-week Multi-Day course, we will take a virtual vacation and explore four of the most well-traveled regions of Japan. Our travel itinerary is as follows: Week 1: Tokyo & Mt. Fuji Week 2: Sapporo & Sapporo Snow Festival Week 3: Kyoto & Nara Week 4: Osaka & Himeji As we "travel to" each location together, we will explore sights that appeal to a variety of travelers. This class is taught in English.
I lived in Japan for 2 years as a volunteer. We studied the Japanese language, traveled, befriended native Japanese people and from them learned much about their beautiful culture. I have personally visited most of the places in the "travel itinerary". I have also researched each area from the perspective of a "tourist" to understand them through a visitor's eyes. I'm excited to share the wonders of Japan with interested students!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
