In this weekly ongoing class, we travel to a Cool City each week. We find out why this city is so cool. From NYC, Cairo, Barcelona, Dubai, and Bogota. We discover landmarks, learn geography, history, culture, go on food tours and much more!

Class Experience

Are you a world traveler or dream of being one? Are you a geography buff? Are you interested in architecture and learning about cool new cities and cultures? Have you been to this cool city before? This class is for you! 

Come with me and travel to some of the Coolest Cities in The World! In this ongoing class, we discover what makes each city super cool by discovering their landmarks, geography, history, culture, and best places to have fun, learn, sleep and of course eat!

The world is full of a mind-boggling amount of Cool Cities. Through my personal world travels, I have been very lucky to have traveled to many of these cities and have lived in more than a few! In this ongoing Coolest Cities Series, we will visit a super cool city each day for 50-55 minutes and find out why this city is soo cool. Learners in this class are able to leave and join anytime. 

From famous landmarks, local food, fun places to play and learn, best places to learn about the history of the city, local celebrations, and festivals and even some hidden gems. 

Have you been to one of these super cool cities before? AMAZING! Bring your photos and stories to share and if you haven't, bring your questions and curiosity, or just sit back and enjoy this virtual escape to a new city and dream of all the places you will go...

We will use personal and shared photos, videos, stories, maps, and discussions to engage each other in our shared visit to each cool city.

New York City, USA

Week of October 9: 
Cairo, Egypt 

Week of October 16: 
Mexico City, Mexico 

Week of October 23: 
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Week of October 30: 
Tokyo, Japan (new content 2023) 

Week of November 6: 
Barcelona, Spain

Learners in this class are able to leave and join anytime. This content does not build week to week.

No prior experience required. 

My classes are inclusive to all Learners (including neurodiverse and ESL and LGBTQ+ Learners) and allow Learners to ask questions, cultivate discussions, and share experiences with each other to learn together and of course, have fun!!  My teaching style is energetic, interactive, engaging, and always supportive. 

** I hold a Degree in Communication & Culture. While obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Culture, I studied and researched communities and their use of culture as an expression to communicate with others. I am TESOL and TEFL certified (Teaching English as a Second Language). I have over 7 years of experience as an Online Educator. I am a world traveler who has been privileged to have lived and traveled in many different countries across the world. I am very excited to share my knowledge with your Learner through this course!

By the end of this course your Learner will be a mini expert on these Cool Cities and dreaming of visiting one day.
