Let's have fun exploring our world. We will visit South America and a small country on the Pacific Ocean. Ecuador is known for the Galapagos Islands, delicious bananas and great football players. Now, we will take a closer look at this country in comparison to students' home country (or country chosen by the student). Students will practice comparative sentence structure, descriptive adjectives, frequency words and expressions of likes and dislikes. This class is great for introducing students to Latin American culture and the diversity of our beautiful world. I just finished living in Ecuador for more than five years. I discovered many interesting facts about this small country from the food to the beaches to the Afro-Latino community. I can't wait to share the best aspects of Ecuador and help students understand their own country and culture more.
