Travel to Beijing, China: The Coolest Cities in the World

Are you a world traveler or dream of being one? Are you a geography buff? Are you interested in architecture and learning about cool new cities and cultures? Have you been to this cool city before? This class is for you! 

The 2022 Winter Olympics are just days away!!! Come with me on a tour to see what makes this year's Olympic city so special. In this one-time class, we travel to Beijing, China, home of the 2022 Winter Olympics and China's massive capital city. Here we will visit ancient sites like the Great Wall, Summer Palace, and Imperial Palace. We will shop till we drop at the Silk Market, stuff our faces with Peking Duck and dumplings at Wangfujing Food Street Night Market, and much more.

The 2022 Winter Olympics are right around the corner! Did you know these are not Beijing's first Olympic Games? Did you know that Beijing has a history dating back over 3 millenniums? Few cities in the world offer as much to do as Beijing. There are endless things to do and you will never be bored. A city showcasing both ancient sites and futuristic skyscrapers, there is a combination of past and present that will leave you awestruck. We will eat in Night Markets, Shop on the world-famous Silk Road, visit sites from the 2008 Summer Olympics, cheer on the local football club, and fly through the sky with the Chaoyang Acrobats. There is something for everyone in this class and you will surely understand why Beijing has been picked twice in 20 years to host the Olympic Games.
