In this one-time class, we take a virtual tour of Athens and Santorini, Greece. First, we do a little geography, history, and fun facts, then in the ancient city of Athens, we take a Mythological tour of the Acropolis and Parthenon and get in an Olympic workout at the Panathenaic Stadium. Next, we visit the National Archaeological Museum, considered one of the greatest museums in the world containing the biggest collection of ancient Greek artifacts worldwide. After working up an appetite, we take a Greek cooking class and enjoy a gourmet dinner. Then, we will travel to Santorini, a fantastical island with incredible volcanic scenery and world-famous sunset views. We will hike from Thira to Oia to view the contrast of the bluest sea and white hillside homes right out of a movie. We will sample the local food, swim at the beaches, visit the archeological site of Akrotiri, and more!
