In this ongoing club for painters, artists and the teacher together will virtually travel the world, and paint beautiful landscapes inspired from locations from around the globe.

Class experience

Learners will expand their visual arts language and problem solving skills while building a regular practice in landscape painting. Learners who join this group regularly will find themselves better able to identify point of interest, apply theories of composition, interpret their surroundings, demonstrate an understanding of light, shadow, saturation, depth of field, leading lines, overlap, and various colour facets of colour theory.
Learners will want to work with :

Paints (acrylic, watercolour, gouache, etc)
Brushes (medium flat, round, plus a large wash brush and a detail brush are ideal)
2 cups of water
Rag or Paper towel
Pencil & Eraser
Ground (ie Canvas, watercolour paper, illustration board , etc - a ground that is most appropriate to the type of paint the learner has chosen).

If you have any questions about the materials your artist has, or materials you plan to get, please feel free to message the teacher.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The teacher will use Map Crunch to randomly generate a location from the google street view data base and display that result as reference materials in the classroom.
