We'll also look at the latest trends, pop culture, what locals are obsessing over, and must-try foods! The teacher has experience living in every location in this series, and will share her wisdom, answer questions, and facilitate conversation about daily life in Thailand. Typical Class Structure: Photo of the landscape - what could you see, hear, smell, taste, feel? Explore the map of the country. A typical day - take a walking tour through the eyes of a local. Food - unpack a recipe and discover key ingredients. Cultural traditions - behaviours, dress, architecture Language - learn the essential basics, 'Hello', 'How are you', 'Thank you'. Teacher expertise and credentials
I’ve been working and traveling for the majority of my adult life, and I can’t wait to take the class on a journey to all the places I’ve lived. I'll be sharing my first hand photos and videos, and local insider knowledge from my contacts in these cities. Seeing the world and experiencing new places are my biggest source of joy, and I hope to inspire in my students a desire to explore the globe and understand its people!
I've spent 4 months traveling through and living in Thailand, exploring not only the well-known tourist spots but also venturing off the beaten path to delve deeper into the culture. I studied Thai cooking, completed a course in Thailand's national combat sport "Muy Thai", got certified in scuba diving and kitesurfing, and participated in local culture and language classes.
