Are you ready for a road trip? Join me as we explore the state of Florida together. From the beaches of Fort Lauderdale to the wildlife of the Everglades to the tourist destination of Orlando, there are facts for everyone to learn about this diverse and beautiful state. We'll learn about some of the geography, wildlife and history as well as people and places that impact the state. Using photographs, Google slides and the National Geographic Kids website, our knowledge of the Sunshine State will grow. After learning new facts, we'll spend the rest of our time together learning Florida trivia through a game of Kahoot. Together, let's embark on a virtual and educational road trip.
Learning Goals
Learners will be able to identify landforms, locations, wildlife and famous people from Florida.
Learners will understand the diversity of the state of Florida and general facts about the region.
Learners will comprehend trivia facts that impact life in the state of Florida during a game of Kahoot.
