Class experience
Welcome to Karen's travel course! This class focuses on traversing Ireland. Each class will have a PowerPoint presentation that students will follow along with during class. Videos, pictures, quizzes, interactive features, and games will be used to motivate each learner. Having backpacked Ireland myself, I plan to share my own photos and travel experiences with the students in this class. Having backpacked across and lived in the United Kingdom, I have many memories journeying across the nation of Ireland. I am a travel enthusiast and love learning about architecture and the history of each place I visit. In class, I plan to use my own travel experience to motivate students to travel to Ireland themselves someday! My ancestry is from Great Britain, so many of the places I visit with my students in our travels are places that are tied into where I am from and my family's history.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
