Ms. Judy has traveled to eighteen countries in Europe and can't wait to share what she's learned with Outschool students. Each week the focus will be on a different feature found in European cities. The teacher is an avid photographer and will start class with a short slide show of her own photos and videos taken on recent trips to Europe. Students will learn about European art, architecture, and culture. Students will be inspired to travel to learn about people around the world. Students will use their imaginations to design features that are found in cities around Europe.
Judy has a master's degree in Arts Integration from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She taught kindergarten through 4th grade and gifted program students for over thirty years. She's been teaching art, poetry, writing, and animal classes on Outschool since March of 2020. Her first trip to Europe was at age twenty-one years old when she had the unique opportunity as an American to be a student intern at a primary school in Winchester, England. Since then, she's managed to travel to seventeen more countries in Europe. Her most recent travels include walking the Camino de Santiago in Portugal and Spain and visiting Estonia, Latvia, and Finland with her two grown sons.
