Travel Camp: Tour Western Europe - England, Spain, and France

By the end of the course students will be able to:
♦ Discover landmarks, landforms, foods, traditions, culture, and nature around England, Spain, and France.
♦ Ask appropriate, clarifying questions to gain information about a place, landmark, or culture.  
♦ Share a personal travel experience and information with others through writing a “social media post.”
♦ Evaluate their travel experience through writing a “Tripadvisor review.” 

While in college, I spent a semester studying abroad in Europe. During that time I visited all of the countries listed, spending a minimum of ten days in each country listed here. Additionally, I have experience working as a tour guide. I have six years experience studying French language and culture. 

No homework is required; however, students will be given take-home recipes and are encouraged to cook the dishes with their families in order to receive a "taste" of each country visited. 

Informal assessment in the form of workbook materials and in-class discussion. 

2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
