This ongoing class takes students on an exciting journey across Africa. We will explore a new country in a different region each week. We'll learn about the country's geography, flag, culture, landmarks, and other interesting facts through an engaging slideshow presentation and discussion. If time allows, we will play a game to review what we learned in class. Learning Goals
At the end of each class, students will gain more insight on each country we learn about. It is my hope that students begin to understand the uniqueness of each country and have a deep appreciation for the continent's diversity.

Bachelor's Degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
I have my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Sociology and have taken courses such as Political economies of African States, Social Development of Africa economies, and Symbolism in Africa amongst others. In addition to these, I grew up in Ghana, hence I have had first-hand experience and a good understanding of some of its cultures.
