In this world geography class, students will travel around the globe one country at a time. Learners will locate countries on a map, learn about capital cities, flags, culture, animals, landmarks, and more!

Description
Class Experience
At the end of the class, students will be able to locate the country of study on the world map and share some interesting facts about the country.
I love to learn and teach about countries, their symbols and other elements of their cultures. I also have a BA and Mphil in Sociology.
1 file available upon enrollment- A handout will be provided on the classroom page a day before class. Please print them out and bring them to class. - Highlighter and Coloring utensil Optional supply list: -Toothpick -Glue stick -Styrofoam board -Print out of The World Map worksheet
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
To extend our studies, I will sometimes post YouTube links in the classroom for students to watch after class. This is completely optional.
