Bring your crayons, markers and paper and get ready to draw with Teacher John! Students will learn about common transportation methods we use in our world! We will cover ships and boats, planes, helicopters, cars, trains, motorcycles plus many more. We will discuss when it is a good choice to use each method of transportation and why safety is important in regards to transportation. Students will draw each time we cover a specific subject are like cars or a different method of transportation. Students will be given a timeframe to draw their favorite car or truck and we will show it to the class. Students will also have the opportunity to draw a "mystery vehicle" and we will let Teacher John guess each vehicle.
Learning Goals
Students will learn by drawing each transportation method we discuss. Learners will get to verbalize why they like a certain method of transportation or if they don't like another method. We will encourage students to discuss when cars or trains are used and why.
