Is your 2nd grader excited to be entering 3rd grade? This is the perfect class to get your upcoming 3rd grader ready for 3rd grade math. We will review math strategies to prepare for more complex math concepts as they enter third grade. In this highly interactive course learners will learn strategies to improve or enhance their math skills. This course will engage learners by using a large amount of visual anchor charts along with teacher modeling and peer discussion. Math worksheets that will be used during each lesson will be provided by teacher. Each class will consist of a teacher led lesson, followed by group practice. I believe in meeting learners at their current academic level and providing an encouraging learning environment to facilitate meaningful learning. ⭐⭐⭐I cannot share class recordings as per agreements with publishers, who have granted permission to use specific materials under the condition that videos are not posted. Your understanding and cooperation in respecting these agreements are greatly appreciated. Additionally, please note that refunds will not be issued for missed classes. Make-up class will be held Thursday, July 6th) Place-Value Week 6: July 11th ( No class on July 12th! Make-up class will be held on Thursday, July 13th) Adding 4-Digit Numbers Week 7: July 18th Subtracting 4-Digit Numbers Week 8: July 25th Multiplication Week 9: August 1st Practice division, subtraction, addition, place value and multiplication Week 10: August 8th Review addition, place value, division, subtraction, and multiplication through word problems Week 11 Aug 15th Rounding to add and subtract Week 12 Aug 22 Money word problems Week 13 Aug 29 Word Problems

Teacher will provide a PDF printable worksheet for each lesson. If you learner does not want to print the worksheets they can just follow along using a whiteboard or piece of paper.
