Transgender children can make friends and socialise in a safe space. This is a social club where students can build self confidence and practice public speaking whist having fun talking and sharing with new friends.

Welcome to our siocial club! Come and make new friends from across the globe in a safe space. You will meet people with similar experiences to yourself. Class will start with an opportunity to interact with others and an ice breaker video or question. We will discuss our week and students are encouraged to share things with each other regarding hobbies and interests. Talk about anything exciting we have done this week, share toys and games, discuss your hobbies, well you can talk about anything you wish...it is your social time! I will encourage and aid discussion whenever necessary. I will identify similar interests and guide discussion around this throughout class. This could be art, music, film, toys etc. If the children are keen on play sessions we will have them. It is very student led. I have a policy for all of my classes. We must be kind. We must respect each other. We must not be rude. - fun facts about me! - vine activity based on interests (make a vine) - colouring and chat - identifying your support network - question time

Teacher expertise and credentials
I was a pastoral leader in my previous teaching post- I lead and introduced the LGBTQ inclusion program at the school. I implemented many changes that led to students feeling comfortable and happy in school again, I still receive messages of thanks now. I contacted an ex trans student for advice on this group.
