Class Experience
In this one-day class, students will learn how to differentiate between different animal tracks and why animal's leave behind their tracks. We will learn about Plantigrades, Digitigrades and Unguligrades and the differences between these animal's tracks. Additionally, students will learn about the movement of animals based on their tracks. We will play a short game where we will try and determine which animal matches with which track. Students will learn how to differentiate between animal tracks and understand why and how the animals left behind their tracks.
I am a certified teacher with a Biology degree and 20 years of teaching experience.
No homework will be given for this class.
The learner will be assessed informally with a fun interactive game of matching the tracks to the animal and looking at landscapes and deciphering what happened based on tracks left behind.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
