In this class, students will have the week between classes to take a picture of their favorite toy using that week's chosen theme. Some examples of themes will be black and white, colorful, food, dramatic light, outside, and many more! 

We will have different themes every week. Sometimes, there will even be themes where students learn a photography term. For example, when the chosen theme is dramatic light, students will learn how to achieve the look with their camera and where to place the light. 

Classes range from 30 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on how many students are in class.

Students will be able to get creative with the theme and use as little or much detail they would like. Classes will be once a week. 

Each class will go as following-
-Sharing pictures and why student chose to use it as the theme
-Discussion on next week’s theme
-How to get the light up/find the light for the picture (if applicable)
-Ideas on how they’ll take the picture that week 

No professional DSLR camera is required for this class. A phone or tablet with a camera, or any camera, is necessary to take the pictures. Students will also be given some tips on editing their pictures on their phone with (free) apps.

Students can upload their photo to the classroom, and it will be shared with the students for that week's class. Students will also be free to give ideas for themes as well. This is a fun photography club for all kids who love to take pictures!
