Class Experience
This class is for students who already speak French well and want to keep skills sharp/improve their French with other students at a similar level. We will discuss a range of topics almost entirely in French. Some miming etc may be involved! I may use a little English if all else fails. The classes will be interactive, but may have less singing than my usual classes. Each class will have some information about French life and culture. Students are welcome to have a good quality dictionary to...
This class is taught in French.
Students will have the opportunity to speak in French for a whole lesson and to listen to others speaking in French. I will offer scaffolding of sentences for students who need it. I will use English briefly if absolutely necessary! Students will have the opportunity to use a range of tenses in class and to extend their use of these tenses in a supportive environment.
I will provide short worksheets so that students can practise what we have done in class and there will be options to extend their use of the tenses we cover in class. Homework is optional, but will be beneficial. Students can send me the work to look at and I will allow a few minutes after class time to go over the work they have done,
Students will need a pen and paper or suitable IT to make notes in class. A good quality dictionary can be used in class if required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will provide verbal feedback during class and written feedback on homework students submit. I will also provide brief written feedback to parents after each class.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
