Tortoises From Around the World!
In this one-time class, students will learn about four different species of tortoises including Galapagos, Red-Foot, African Spurred (Sulcata), and Gopher tortoises. Students will be able to observe two Red Foot Tortoises during class!

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn geography by being able to locate where certain species of tortoises live in the world. We will also learn about the environment, diet, and life of each species. Students will also learn how to organize their thoughts and ideas from the beginning to the end of the lesson by using a graphic organizer (KWL chart). Students will also be able to observe Red Foot Tortoises in class.
