Each week, we will discuss a specific subject related to writing (listed below), followed by discussion, a writing prompt, and further discussion. Students will learn creative writing strategies and develop their ability to express themselves in written and verbal forms.
There is no required homework. Upon request, I can provide a reading list for any discussed topic.
Each class will feature a writing prompt, so students should come with pen and paper or a word processor program.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There are no grades, but students will be given direct feedback and tips to improve their writing and critical thinking. Given enough completed classes, I am willing to offer a grade for a high school transcript.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
