The content covered in this course will be based on student need. At least two days before the first class, the parent or student should share the information that they need to learn or review. I will prepare resources and learning materials. I ask the parent to share other relevant student data that will impact our work. Depending on the topic, this session will be taught using pictures, video clips, slides, discussions, lecture, and open-ended questions. The class is scheduled in half hour...
I am a 23-year licensed Instructor. I have been privileged to instruct thousands of students. 96% of my engaged students are successful on state assessments. I hold a Science Degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. Currently, In addition, I have a Master’s in Instructional Technology pending with a 4.00 GPA. I have taught all science courses from grade Kindergarten to post-graduate courses to include Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, AP Biology, Microbiology, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Science, Environmental Science and many others.
Homework Offered
Optional: I ask that the students dedicate 10-15 minutes of study time each day. Additional homework or resources may be provided upon request. I will assign homework in ongoing private tutoring sessions.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The students will be informally assessed as they engage in discussions and as they interact in a question-answer session at the end of class. Parents will receive feedback about student progress. In ongoing private tutoring sessions, formal assessments will be given so ensure student understanding/comprehension.Grades Offered
