We will deep dive into some of North America’s apex predators in this multi day course. What their roll is in their own ecosystem and how important that roll is. I will focus on 1 to 2 animals per section, what region they live in, what their main food source is and why that is so important for the environment that they reside. I have kept this class size small for lots of discussions and feed back. We will discuss animals like; Bears, Wolves and coyotes , Mountain Lions and Orcas I am an...
I will ensure that your leaner will come away with some basic understanding of what an apex predator is, why they are so important, where they live and what they eat. This class will also have a high level of understanding ecology.
Understanding will be assessed throughout the class interaction, students will be asked questions for review and what their thoughts are.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
