Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a KS substitute teacher for several school districts. I love working with students so I tutor, give piano lessons, and babysit/kid sit through a company. Loving on pets as a pet sitter and delivering puppies from breeders to new owners gives me happiness. I have always had a passion for learning even through I had undiagnosed learning disabilities like ADHD and auditory processing disorder. I get these kids! I understand how reading content material or even a fiction book can be difficult. Through my teaching of fourth grade, I have learned to deliver material in strange ways so the student will understand it! An example is when I am teaching rounding: I have a story of ducks trying to cross a busy street with a median in the middle. If the number to be rounded is 0-4, they would turn around and run back to their original spot on the sidewalk. If its 5-9, they are already in the median and might as well run the rest of the way.
I will be teaching reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, math through pre-algebra, geography, and US history, piano, music theory, music history, character traits, and virtual field trips.
I love camping, playing the piano, reading, and watching history or science programs on YouTube so I am constantly broadening my interests.
