Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in Arabic.
I have over twenty years experience working with and teaching students.  I have a bachelor's degree in both History and Economics.  My master's degree is in Higher Education.  I also have a juris doctorate degree in Law.  Most importantly, I have a passion for teaching, history in particular! 
Week One - 15 toothpicks, 10-15 small slices of apple (around 1 inch), bowl filled with some water Week Two - uncooked spaghetti noodles (around 20 pieces), modeling clay, bucket with a handle, pennies Week Three - one can of soup, some rubber bands, small and large ziploc bags, tape, glue, and extras (corks, paper/plastic cups, straw, foil, etc - things to keep your can of soup afloat) Week Four - flashlight, printout from classroom Week Five - empty plastic water bottle with three holes on the side (one at the top, one at the bottom, and one in the middle), access to the sink or pitcher of water, bowl/sink, tape
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
During this class, there will be some discussion of the people that did not survive the Titanic disaster.  All discussions will be kept at an age appropriate level.
