During this engaging course, students will learn about the history surrounding the ship, The Titanic. Topics to be covered will include: the architecture of the ship, the historical setting in England and the United States, the people that boarded and worked on the ship, the sinking of the ship, survivor stories, and explorations of the sunken ship. Interactive slides, primary and secondary historical sources, fun lectures, discussions, and activities to immerse students in this era of history are used to engage students during each class. Learning Goals
Students will be able to describe the key events leading up to, during, and following the Titanic disaster.

During this class, there will be discussions of the tragedy and deaths that occurred when the Titanic sank. The discussion will be kept at an age-appropriate level.
