The learning goals for this course will investigate the history of the Cold War and how the Titan II missile fit into the United States strategy of peace through deterrence. Further, it will discuss the missile system as a whole and focus on the history and science of the U.S. intercontinental ballistic missile program. Additionally, there will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information. The student may download the document and use it to take notes during the class. Also, there will be a short Titan II video to stimulate discussion points in the class. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn about the material. There will be no assigned homework in this class and the teaching style will be interactive discussion using power point.
Learning Goals
The student will learn about the history and key points of the Cold War as well as how the Titan II Nuclear Missile fit into the United States strategy of peace through deterrence.
