Description

Class Experience

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please understand that I will be reading the books and students will be answering questions about the books. They will not be reading the text. They will use what they hear in the story to answer comprehension questions, make connections, ask questions, make predictions, make inferences, and learn new vocabulary words.

Santa Claus will be in some of the books that we read in this class. I will neither confirm nor deny the existence of Santa Claus. If it comes up in class I will refer students to their parents.

This class is secular in nature and although I will not teach anything of a religious nature, students might bring up their beliefs or experiences. I will refer students to their parents if they ask any religious questions.

This class will not meet during Thanksgiving week or Christmas week.
