Memorizing math facts can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be! As a former elementary school math teacher, I have a lot of fun tricks up my sleeve to teach you the times tables. You may not even realize that you're learning! In this class, we will focus on the 2, 3, 4 and 5 times tables. We will look for patterns in the numbers that will help students memorize their times tables. Building a strong mathematical foundation is extremely important in elementary school, as it only gets more challenging each year. Let's start the school year off right!

Hello! My name is April Moser, and I am a former 6th grade classroom teacher, specializing in math. I live in Virginia, USA, near Washington, D.C.
In 2006 I earned a Masters Degree in Education, and went on to teach upper elementary school, focusing on math at all levels. Since having my own children, I have moved to online teaching, and have taught over 500 students online in the last few years!
I have always enjoyed math, and I have created a lot of classes that make learning math more exciting for the students. Each of our brains work differently, and that is the foundation on which I build my lessons. In class, if there are three ways to solve a problem, we will try them all! That way, your learner has a much better chance of understanding and grasping the concept.
We play Kahoot and Gimkit games to get the kids excited about reviewing concepts, and I am always available to answer questions when needed.
