Class Experience

Stuends will learn how to read a clock using an hour hand and minute hand.
Students will learn phrases that revolve around time such as "Half past, fifteen til', a quarter past, a quarter to."
Students will be introduced to time intervals- such as determining the amount of time between an event.
Students will solve word problems about elapsed time.
Students will communicate their answers orally and visually.
Students will locate times and compute units of elapsed time.
Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education 
At the end of each session, I will post a one-page worksheet for your learner to conduct at home (before the next session). This should not take more than ten minutes of their time. We will review the correct answers at the beginning of the next class. The homework will help your learner retain everything that was taught in the class that day. 
 1 file available upon enrollment
Handouts will be included on the Class Summary Page before and after each class First Session (if they are creating their own clock): Paper Plate Marker or Crayon Construction Paper- any color Split Pins or a paper fastener Scissors
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
