Class Experience

This class is for writers of all levels who want to practice their writing skills using fun, interesting prompts and share their thoughts and ideas with others. This class is designed to allow students an opportunity to practice their writing skills while communicating with and encouraging others. 

Students will practice brainstorming and organizing their ideas by responding to a visual prompts and discussing possible scenarios for pictures they are shown. Students will then respond to a creative writing prompts based on a variety of topics. Writing prompts will cover engaging and fun topics designed to encourage critical thinking and creativity. Topics include: travel, food, movies, etc. 

Students are also encouraged to add illustrations to their journal entries. Time will be given during class for students to share their work and illustrations.

Other Details

Supply List
Students will need a spiral notebook, composition journal, or paper and a pen/pencil.
They may also wish to have their favorite drawing supplies for journal illustrations.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I am CALP (Certified Academic Language Practitioner) certified and have many years experience teaching students of all learning styles and differences.
