In this ongoing class, students will engage in conversation with the teacher to improve confidence, sentence structure, grammar and intonation. The teacher will begin class with appropriate greetings and common pleasantries like, What is your name? How are you? How's the weather? What did you do on the weekend? Tell me some things that you like. The student will choose from a few topics suggested by the teacher and we will chat casually about the chosen theme. For example, going to the...
- Students will gain confidence in a supportive and fun class practicing and improving upon their casual conversational English. Each lesson will be customized to their English level and speaking abilities.
I have been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) online for two years to children ages 3 to 14 in China. I have 18 years of classroom teaching experience in my local public school board with students from Junior Kindergarten to 8th grade, including ESL students.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
