1 hour per week. While there is no follow up class, students will be expected to complete a time audit and to-do lists in order to be successful at managing their time.Class Experience
As kids get older they have more constraints on their time. It becomes easy to allow many distractions keep us from accomplishing what is important. In this course, students will learn how to keep track of their time so that they may better manage it. They will be taught how to track their time, identify their priorities, create a useful "to-do" list, identify time wasters, and more! In addition, we will spend time talking about the brain and the body and how to take control of both to maximize success in life and school. The course will be a mix of presenting information, discussion and interaction, and opportunity to apply what has been learned. Resources will be provided (hand-outs) but students can also use their own paper. A MINIMUM ENROLLMENT OF 3 STUDENTS IS REQUIRED TO HOLD THE CLASS. (Please note that we cover a lot in 55 minutes and it will be up to the students (and their parents) to follow through on their own. If you would like a more guided approach that slows down instruction and provided follow-up to many of the steps, I encourage you to sign up for my other Time Management class that is spread over 4-30 minute classes.)
