Learning how to take care of our teeth starting at a young age is so important. In this fun class young children will learn about taking care of their teeth. They will learn about the correct way to brush their teeth, and they will also learn about the importance of flossing. We will learn a song to help us remember how to brush our teeth. Children will learn the importance of brushing their teeth twice a day and flossing. They will learn that it is important to see the dentist every year or even every six months. Children will learn about losing their baby teeth and that a new adult tooth comes in to replace it.
I am a licensed elementary school teacher who has taught young children a unit on dental health for several classes. I have also learned from visiting my dentist about the importance of dental health and how to care for teeth.
There will not be any homework given in this one-time class. The only homework is to brush and floss your teeth twice a day every day and to see your dentist.
