Class experience

Beginner - Intermediate Level
I am an Award Winning Fully Qualified Elementary/Primary School Teacher and German Specialist and I have 11 years teaching experience. I was a senior teacher up until March 2020, giving staff appraisals and leading school meetings. I was a school lead in co-operative learning for all subjects, employing co-operative learning strategies and techniques to make my lessons more engaging, fun and co-operative.
Homework Offered
A printable sheet containing all vocabulary and an activity for each lesson will be provided in the classroom a few days before each lesson starts so that the learning can continue outside of the classroom. It would be helpful if the students read and do these before and also have them in class.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
There will be a fun quiz at the end of each lessons to test out and practise your new knowledge.
Grades Offered
Learners should already know some basic German in order to take this class. Ideally, learners would have completed 'Time for German 101' and 'Time for German 102'.
A document containing all of the vocabulary for each lesson will be provided and students should read it and complete the activities before or after the lesson. It would also be very helpful for the students to have the handout during the lesson so they can refer to this.

For the Nearpod quiz near the end of each lesson, the learner should be able to access Nearpod on their web browser. I will send a link and a code for them to enter the quiz 5 minutes before the end of class for the quiz to take place in class. Learners can either simply click on the link or enter the code onto the Nearpod website. They do not need a Nearpod account for this.

In class, I will use slides that I have created myself using Canva. I will simply share my screen so that learners can see the relevant information and all of that information will also be on the handout I provide - which is also created using Canva. You do not need a Canva account.
