Tie-Dye Tuesday!
In this class, students will get the opportunity to learn a fun, quick, easy way to create the art of tie-dye.

Students will enjoy a fun art project as we tie-dye a T-shirt or a small blanket. We will meet over live video chat for instruction on how to complete the activity with the materials listed below. Student's will be able to share their designs with their friends and discuss their favorite colors. Studnet will walk through step by step to complete this activity. Students will need a work area that is ok to get messy as this can be a very messy art project. You student is guaranteed to have fun in this class.

Supply List
A white t-shirt or white small blanket. acrylic paint (just the small 50 cent bottle from walmart will do) a squirt bottle of any kind ( empty condiment bottles, shampoo or soap bottles, etc) (students will need one bottle for each color of tie-dye that they will want to use) Water inside each squirt bottle rubber bands

My name is Shelby Landreth. I have been in the education field for many years. I was an education specialist at a local science museum teaching home school programs, school programs, and camps of many kinds. I also have experience teaching children with special needs. I have worked with these children in a school setting as well as a clinic setting providing ABA therapy. I also own the organization Creative Minds Learning Center LLC that also hosts classes here on Outschool. If there is a class of mine that you do not currently see available or if the class is sold out you may want to check to see if I have another teacher offering the class there.
I believe that there is no reason that education and life skills cannot be fun since it is an essential part of our daily lives. If you are looking for a teacher that loves teaching and wants to teach your child a concept in a way that they will have fun and enjoy the class, you will find it in my classroom with fun games and projects that promote a lifetime fuel for learning.
