Description

Class Experience

Students will enjoy a fun art project as we tie-dye a T-shirt or a small blanket.  We will meet over live video chat for instruction on how to complete the activity with the materials listed below. Student's will be able to share their designs with their friends and discuss their favorite colors. 
Studnet will walk through step by step to complete this activity. Students will need a work area that is ok to get messy as this can be a very messy art project. You student is guaranteed to have...

A white t-shirt or white small blanket. 
acrylic paint (just the small 50 cent bottle from walmart will do) 
a squirt bottle of any kind ( empty condiment bottles, shampoo or soap bottles, etc) (students will need one bottle for each color of tie-dye that they will want to use)
Water inside each squirt bottle
rubber bands

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
