25 mins in-class hoursHomework
1 hour per week. Although this is a one-time class, the adventure doesn't have to stop here! Each Time-Teller will receive a delightful "Time Treasure Map" worksheet to take home. It will have analog and digital clock puzzles that mirror the mysteries we solved together in class. Individual or Group? The "Time Treasure Map" is designed for individual exploration but feel free to team up with family members to solve it together for added fun! Homework Time Commitment It should take about 20 minutes to navigate through the Time Treasure Map. And don't worry, there won't be any "reading time" required beyond what's necessary for solving the clock puzzles. So, even after class is done, you can keep practicing and become the ultimate Time-Teller! 🕰️🏴☠️Assessment
Even though our journey in the world of time-telling is short, it's packed with magical moments of learning! There won't be formal letter grades here; after all, we're more about the "tick-tocks" than the traditional report cards. 🕰️ Informal Assessment: Instead, your child will experience real-time, interactive quizzes and puzzles during the class. Think of them as mini-missions on our time-traveling adventure! I'll offer immediate feedback and plenty of high-fives (virtually, of course!) to celebrate their victories and clarify any hiccups. Treasure Map Worksheet: Remember that "Time Treasure Map" for homework? Well, it serves as a take-home assessment too. Your little Time-Teller can bring it back to the next class, if they wish, and we'll go over any challenges they faced. This method not only makes learning fun but also allows me to tailor my teaching to each child's needs, ensuring that everyone leaves the class as a confident Time-Teller! 🌟Grading
