In this visual arts class, students will follow along as I demonstrate a variety techniques to create a flower garden and white picket fence. We'll paint together in a step by step process, but each student's painting will be unique based on their artistic choices. The first few minutes will be introductions and looking at images of Claude Monet paintings, followed by a step by step "follow me" process and finally we'll end with a 5-10 minute praise and share time. Students are encouraged to follow the process but to use their creative license to create uniquely interesting pieces of art that reflect their personality and character.
Learning Goals
