3 live meetings
1 hrs 15 mins in-class hours per weekHomework
Homework is optional but i will send worksheets after every lesson to help reinforce what we have learned.Assessment
A weekly assessment will be done upon request but that needs to be indicated prior to the start of class. Once a learner has shown the teacher multiple times a skill then it is mastered.Class Experience
Your child must meet the age requirement and be 4 years of age at the start of class. Make sure to check the class schedule for meeting times. Learners must be able to sit independently (by themselves), learners should not be on someone’s lap or have to be held during the lesson. Parents are welcome to assist off camera. In this ongoing lesson, learners will begin class with a hello song. In each class a new concept will be introduced to students through slides. These fall-themed activities will focus on helping students learn numbers, practice letter recognition, and activities to build fine motor development. Fine motor skills involve the use of small muscles that control the hand, fingers, and thumb. They help children perform important tasks like buttoning and zipping clothes, writing, and drawing. This is a great refresher course for students who want to review. Each lesson will have a skilled task worksheet that may require parental guidance for cutting, writing, and if time permits we can focus on using the computer mouse. The class size will remain small in order to focus on each learner's needs. Because this is an ongoing class students can join in at any time and learn a new skill or review one they have already learned. Learners will receive themed worksheets prior to the start of their first class. Learners are more than welcome to take the class multiple times as each lesson is different. I believe students learn best through play and hands-on activities, so students will have plenty of time to talk and share ideas when concepts are being introduced. We will enjoy singing songs, the teacher made stories, and different fall facts. Dates are subject to change due to American Holidays.
