Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 12
In this class, students will be assessed in their conversational, reading, and writing capabilities. We will then create individualized learning goals for the learner in reading, writing, and grammar each week. During class, we will work on phonics, fluency, comprehension, grammar, sentence structure, and writing skills based on their needs and individual learning goals that are specified by the parent in the form given upon signing up for the class or based on the assessments given by the teacher.

Each class will begin with an assessment or by reviewing the homework assigned between meetings. We will then focus on the main learning goal while using the remaining time to work on subsequent learning goals based on the priority level specified by the parent or the discernment of the teacher. Students will then be given their next assignment.
Meeting Schedule For Each Week:
Class 1: Introductions, Assessments, Goal Setting, and Initial Work on Focus
Class 2: Focus on Learning Goal Set and Reviewing Student Work
Class 3: Focus on Learning Goal Set and Reviewing Student Work

Learning Goals

Students will improve their English Language Arts skills in reading, writing, and grammar.
